This café is in a former cricket pavilion opened in 1937 and since converted to include a well equipped kitchen and a separate kiosk which sells coffee ice cream and keg lager as well as falafel. At weekends since August it has had Jazz, Kletzmer and Baroque Guitar performances and our customers have so far contributed more than £3,000 to the Musicians’ Benevolent Society fund for musicians who have lost their income during the pandemic.
