Queens Park has had a café for almost all its history (which begins when the purchase of the land , originally as the site of the 1879 Agricultural Show). The present building dates from the 1960s when it was rechristened a ‘refreshment châlet’ and given plenty of kitchen and storage space. With the pandemic we have focussed on developing the patio for outdoor service of coffee falafel and crêpes but are also developing dishes of the day and Sunday roasts. There are plans for extra shelter and outdoor heating for the colder months ahead.
